PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corner pad hard to be slipped off by simple working and capable of sure fixing, and provide a baseboard using it. SOLUTION: Claw parts 2, 3 provided on both vertical end edges are locked on the rear face and the lower face of a baseboard B, locking projection parts 2b, 3b projected on the edges of the base part 2a, 3a of the claw parts 2, 3 are engaged with grooves 8, 9 provided on the baseboard B respectively, and fixed on a wall 5 integrally with the baseboard B in a state where a dovetail shape projection 1 projected on the rear face is fitted to a dovetail shape groove 4 recessed on the surface of the baseboard B.
