PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily form an image difficult to conduct a forgery or a falsification at a low cost by providing an ink layer on one side surface of a sheet-like base material layer, and providing a back surface layer made of at least two types of materials having different elastic moduli on multiple surfaces. SOLUTION: The ink ribbon for forming a recording image on an ID card or the like comprises an ink layer 4 having a thickness of about 1 μm and provided on one side surface of a base material sheet 2 made of a polyethylene terephthalate film having a thickness of about 4.5 μm, and a back surface layer 3 having a thickness of about 1 μm and formed on an opposite surface of the sheet 2 to the surface formed with the layer 4. The layer 3 is formed of a layer forming material 16 obtained by mixing silicone particles 5 each having a relatively high elasticity and a particle size of about 0.7 μm. According to this ribbon, an image having a print void of a peculiar shape difficult to conduct a forgery or a falsification at the obtained recorded image can be easily formed at a low cost by a difference in elasticity moduli of two kinds of materials in the back surface layer. |
