<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve resistance to sterilization, environmental safety, heat resistance and impact resistance by forming a food container suitable as a dish, a food preservation container or the like of an alicyclic structure-containing polymer so that when the container is soaked in methyl oleate under specific conditions, a crack of a specific size does not occur from a surface. SOLUTION: In order to prevent impact strength of the food container from lowering even after it has been used as a dish, a cooked food preserving container or the like for a long time, the food container is formed of an alicyclic structure containing polymer so that when soaked in methyl oleate at 75 deg.C for 24 hours, a crack of the maximum depth from a surface of 1 mm or longer and a length of 10 mm or longer does not occur. As a polymer resin which contains an alicyclic structure, for example a norbornene based polymer, a monocyclic olefin based polymer, a cyclic conjugated diene based polymer, a vinyl alicyclic hydrocarbon based polymer can be mentioned. In addition, at least one layer comprising the alicyclic structure-containing polymer and at least one layer comprising a composition which contains the alicyclic structure-containing polymer and a filler may be provided, respectively.</p> |
