PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the rigidity of a wiper arm of the type in which an arm shank part connection to an arm head and an arm piece part connection to a wiper blade are integrated together. SOLUTION: The intermediate portion 6 of a wiper arm between a portion 4 corresponding to an arm shank and a portion 5 corresponding to an arm piece comprises a bottom face part 6a and a folded piece part 6c located near and oppositely to the bottom face part. The bottom face part 6a is curved crosswise and a clearance is formed between the bottom face part 6a and the folded piece part 6c. The plate thickness of the intermediate portion 6 in the direction of a window face exceeds about double the plate thickness of a plate member.
