PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress occurrence of drag torque, particularly in lockup device having a disk-shaped piston disposed so as to divide a space between a front cover and turbine into two parts. SOLUTION: This lockup device 4 comprises a piston mechanism 37 and a second piston 38. The piston mechanism 37 is allowed to be moved axially in a space C by a pressure variation inside the space C. The piston mechanism 37 divides the space C into a first space D on a front cover 2 side and a second space E on a turbine 11 side. The piston mechanism 37 forms a clutch connection part 40 between the front cover 2. The piston mechanism 37 can output a torque to the turbine 11. The second piston 38 is engaged with the front cover 2 so that they are rotated integrally with each other, and disposed between the piston mechanism 37 and the turbine 11.
