PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new lipase production enhancing gene which contains a DNA composition coding for a specific amino acid sequence, used for processing an oil and as a reagent for clinical diagnosis, and a detergent as an enzyme for hydrolyzing a lipid, as a digesting enzyme as a medicine, and so on. SOLUTION: This is a new gene which contains a DNA composition coding for at least one of amino acid sequences expressed by formulas I-IV, a DNA composition coding for at least one of amino acid sequences modified by deleting, substituting, or adding one or more amino acid(s) from, in, or to the amino acid sequences expressed by formulas I-IV, or a DNA composition which hybridizes the a DNA composition coding for at least one of amino acid sequences expressed by formulas I-IV under a stringent condition, can enhance production of liphase, and allows efficient production of liphase which can be used to produce an enantiomer such as an intermediate for medicines and agrochemicals and so on. This gene is obtained by screening chromosomal DNA of Burkholderia cepacia SC-20. |
