<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain flame-retardant metal coated fabric useful as an electromagnetic wave shielding material having excellent flame retardance, suppressing occurrence of dusting by coating the surface of a metal coated modacrylic fiber with a flame-retardant composed of a resin containing an organobromine compound and antimony trioxide. SOLUTION: A modacrylic fiber fabric coated with a metal is coated on both sides with 10-50%, preferably 15-40% based on the weight of the fabric of a flame-retardant obtained by compounding a resin such as an acrylic acid ester, etc. with 50-300%, preferably 100-200% of organobromine compound and 30-200%, preferably 60-150% of antimony trioxide in a solid content ratio to give the objective flame-retardant metal coated fabric.</p> |
