PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply realize the unit replacement and also simply realize the change of the performance of a device. SOLUTION: A unit type image forming device is provided with a plurality of units 3 fitted removably on a unit supporting section 2 formed on a device case 1, and also provided with a first unit 4 fitted removably on the unit supporting section 2 facing a fitting and removing opening 1c of the device 1 and a second unit 5 fitted removably on a deeper side unit supporting unit 2 communicated with the unit supporting section 2 of the first unit 4 fitted removably through a fitting removing mechanism 6 for fitting and removing by utilizing a space formed by removing the first unit 4. Also a new unit of different device performance is fitted in place of an existing unit fitted removably on the unit supporting section 2.
