摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a size of a device and an electric power consumption compared with conventional ones, while keeping an advantage of reducing operation force for a backdoor. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a gas stay for energizing a backdor 1 opening-directionally, a motor 6 provided to transmit driving force closing- directionally with respect to the backdoor 1, a control means for controlling drive of the motor 6, a range detecting means for detecting whether at least an opening of the backdoor 1 is within a driving force imaprting range including a range from a fully opened position upto a self-closing position where the backdoor 1 is closed by a dead weight against energizing force of the gas stay, but not reaching to a fully cosed position or not, and a closing operation commanding switch for commanding a closing operation for the backdoor 1. The control means is condtituted to execute auto-closing control for driving the motor 6 to rotate the backdoor 1 closing-directionally during a time when the backdoor 1 is located within the driving force imparting range, when the closing operation commanding switch is operated.
