PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the surface hardness and enhance the resistance to caster, the resistance to cracks, the wear-resistant properties and the like by compressing a decorative plywood in a thickness direction and flattening the surface of a decorative veneer through consolidating it without generating minute cracks, in a decorative plywood comprising the decorative veneer stuck to a plywood. SOLUTION: When the decorative plywood 10 for flooring comprising a plywood structured of five laminated layers of lauan veneer and a cryptomeria veneer (a decorative veneer) stuck to the surface of the plywood is manufactured, first an aqueous coloring agent is printed into the surface of the cryptomeria veneer out of the decorative plywood 10 in a coloring process and then the aqueous coloring agent is dried and cured using a heater. Next, a resin impregnating agent 44 is applied to the surface 13A of the veneer of the decorative plywood 10 with the help of a roll coater 40 in an impregnating agent application process. After that, the decorative plywood 10 impregnated with the applied resin impregnating agent 44 is loaded into a heat pressurizing roll device 50 equipped with upper compressing rollers 51A-51C and lower compressing rollers 52A-52C to obtain the decorative plywood 20 with a consolidated decorative veneer in a heat compression process.
