GUIDING PILLAR-TYPE TOOL FOR CAPTURING CICADA LARVA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guiding pillar-type tool for capturing cicada larvae which enables a grower to be released from sleepless night work and enables efficient capturing operation to be performed by taking advantage of the habit that cicada larvae climb trees in order to perform ecdysis, by employing a pillar made of a material capable of being bitten by claws of larvae and by integrating the pillar with a transparent capturing container. SOLUTION: This guiding pillar-type tool for capturing cicada larvae is composed of a guiding pillar 1 having a part 2 to be inserted into the ground, a canopy 3 integrated with a guiding pillar-covering part 3a into one body in which an antislipping tape 10 is laid on an ascending inside surface following the part 3a and a capturing container 4 removably attached to the bottom edge opening 3b of the canopy 3 so as to secure the space S through which cicada larvae can pass between the container 4 and the pillar 1.
