DEVICE FOR ASCENDING AND DESCENDING THERMO ELECTRONIC HEAD OF DIGITAL VIDEO PRINTER

PURPOSE: A device for ascending and descending a thermo electronic head of a digital video printer is provided to ascend and descend a thermo electronic head for feeding a paper by being separated from a platen roller, performing a back feeding a paper by being sticking to the lower platen roller, and feeding a thermal transfer ribbon for printing image data responded to the corresponding color. CONSTITUTION: The upper cover channel(29) is combined with the both flames by a hinge. A feeding roller(43) and a platen roller(28) are provided for feeding a paper. A feeding motor(40) is provided for operating the feeding roller(43) and the platen roller(28). A thermal transfer head(21) is sticked to the platen roller(28), feeds a thermal transfer ribbon(45) and a paper, and prints image data. An ascending and descending motor(10) is fixedly mounted in one flame. A bracket(20) has the thermal transfer head(21) at an end thereof and a hinge(22) at the central portion thereof. A cam(14) is mounted at the both sides of a shaft for being interworked by the ascending and descending motor(10). A protrusion pin(23) and a loop(26) are mounted at the rear end portion of the bracket(20). A spring(27) is mounted between the loop(26) and a cover panel(29). A bushing(24) is mounted in the protrusion pin(23) for being bordered to a circumference surface of the cam(14). An actuator is mounted for integrally rotated in the shaft and comprises a large-sized semicircle and a small-sized semicircle. A photo sensor is mounted for sensing a rotation position of the actuator. A control unit is provided for controlling the ascending and descending motor(10) and the feeding motor(40).
