PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for high speed false twisting giving little damage to a FY (a thermoplastic continuous multifilament yarn) after processing and presenting a uniform false twisted yarn with suppressing vibrations of the twisted FY generated in a contactless heater for heat-setting yarn twists retroactive to a twisting area. SOLUTION: In a method for a high speed drawing false twisting with at least 1000 m/min. of a false twisting speed by a contactless heater 2 as a first heater in which guides curving along the running direction of a thermoplastic continuous multifilament yarn (FY) with a radius of curvature (R) in 2000-3000 mm and regulating the running of the FY are installed, the guides for regulating running in the first heater are brought to satisfy the following equation: 1.1<=sin-1(P/2R)/tan-1(L/P)<=4 [Here, R is a radius of curvature (mm), P is a pitch (mm) between guides in the running direction of the FY, L is a distance between guides perpendicular to the running direction of the FY].
