PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily set a tonneau cover in a service position from an out-of-the- way storage position inside a deck room. SOLUTION: Arms 13 are attached to both ends of a cylinder 11 extending in the cross direction of a vehicle and having a winder stored therein, and a tonneau cover base part 10 formed into a U-shape corresponding to the upper half of a peripheral frame 2 for a back door opening 1 is provided. The tonneau cover base part supports the base end of each arm 13 on the body side so that each arm 13 is rotatable between a stored position where it overlaps the inside of the peripheral frame 2 and a position where it reaches the floor 9a of a deck room. A locking tool 30 for locking the rotating position of the tonneau cover base part 10 at least in the stored position or horizontal position is attached.
