PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and precisely adjust the height of the printing surface of a printing unit by simply rotating an operation dial by fitting the operation dial on the upper end of a gripping cylinder in a date stamping impression. SOLUTION: This date stamping impression has a receiving member 31 which is fixed to the opening upper end section of a gripping cylinder, an operation dial 32 and a screw body 33. The operation dial 32 is horizontally rotatably, but under a locked state, fitted in the receiving member 31. The screw body 33 is vertically movably, but under a rotation-locking state, screwed with the operation dial 32. When the operation dial 32 is rotated by hand, the screw body 33 vertically moves. The lower end of the vertical shaft 47 of the screw body 33 is brought into contact with the upper end of a printing unit.
