PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration of a device allowing personal feeling to put into a toy capable of enjoying conversation and a toy allowing the transmission of a will by sound easily. SOLUTION: This toy consists of a sound input and output part 5, an action control part 6, and a robot 1 operating as a pseudo-listener or a pseudo-talker, the sound input and output part 5 performs inputting of sound from the outside and outputting of sound to the outside, the action control part 6 determines behavior of the pseudo-listener or the pseudo-talker based on the inputted sound, and the robot 1 performs nodding operation of a head, opening and closing operations of a mouth, blinking operation of an eye or gesture operation of a body in accordance with the determined behavior.
