PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a breast pump capable of executing milking more efficient than heretofore. SOLUTION: A milking part 3 has a milking part body 31 which is formed to a funnel shape covering the breast, a nipple which is formed at the inside wall of this milking part body 31 and an adapter 32 which covers the nipple portion and is similarly formed to the funnel shape. The thicknesses of the milking part 31 and the elastic body of the adapter 32 are gradually decreased toward their front ends. Then, the foot portion of the breast and the outer peripheral portion of the areola of mamma are eventually preferentially and more strongly oppressed and released of oppression and are further eventually successively oppressed toward the front end from the foot portion of the breast and toward the breast direction from the outer peripheral portion of the areola of mamma and, therefore, the efficient milking is made possible.
