PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability and enable application to various machines by attaching a hydraulic pump for a brake to a shaft of a differential gear. SOLUTION: Rotation transmitted from an input side shaft 6 is transmitted to a shaft 1 of a differential gear 5. A hydraulic pump 4 for a brake attached to the shaft 1 is operated by an operating lever 3. When the lever 3 is operated to a close direction, an oil opening/closing valve is closed, flow of oil is suppressed, an operation of the hydraulic pump 4 is suppressed, and braking is applied on the shaft 1. Rotation of the shaft 1 decelerated by the braking operation is transmitted to an output side shaft 2 by the differential gear 5. Rotation of the output side shaft 2 is accelerated speedily toward delay rotation of the shaft 1 by the hydraulic pump 4 for the brake. It is thus possible to provide a continuously variable transmission without using a belt.
