PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply fit a building panel to a framework by providing chamfer sections on the edge sections of a heat insulating material in the building panel provided with the heat insulating material on a plate-like body. SOLUTION: First and second notch sections 27, 28 are provided at both end sections and center section of the indoor face 82 of a heat insulating material 20 made of foam polystyrene. Indoor inclined faces 36 and outdoor inclined faces are provided at the corner sections of the heat insulating material 20 along its outer peripheral edges. A wooden stud 17 extending along the longitudinal direction of a panel is connected to the center section of the indoor face S12 of a plate-like body 12 formed with a medium-quality fiber board. The heat insulating material 20 is connected to the plate-like body 12 to form the wall panel so that the second notch sections 28 pinch the stud 17. Since the inclined faces 36 are formed at the edge sections of the heat insulating material 20, the wall panel can be simply fitted in the installation space formed on a framework.
