PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support device efficient for decrease of the number of constituting parts. SOLUTION: A hydraulic cylinder 2 for moving up and down is set in a holder 1. A piston rod 3 is positioned at the upper side and made vertically slidable along the inside face of a bush 10. A spring 7 is incorporated in between the flange 3A of the piston rod 3 and a head cover 1c. The hydraulic cylinder 2 for vertical movement is not extended/contracted by the closing action of a pilot operation check valve in a hydraulic pressure circuit when the spring is deflected and contracted, but the whole body moves upward to avoid an obstacle or the like on a road.
