PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum type washing machine having a rotary shaft arranged by tilting and capable of performing effective washing. SOLUTION: In a drum type washing machine provided with an outer box 1 having an exit 1a for taking in and out washing on a front face thereof, a water tank 3 which is attached in the outer box 1 so as to swing freely and has an opening part 3a on a front face thereof, a rotary drum 5 which is provided inside the water tank 3, rotates around a rotary shaft 4 tilted at a predetermined angle, and has an opening part 5a on a front face thereof, and a water supply passage 10 for supplying water into the water tank 3, a substantially cylindrical door packing 6 whose one end is fixed at peripheral fringe of the exit 1a and other end is fixed at peripheral fringe of the opening part 3a of the water tank 3 is provided, and a one winding bellows part 6d which is continuous with the other end and has a large diameter in substantially vertical direction for axial direction of the rotary shaft 4 is formed on the door packing 6. Moreover, a water supply nozzle 6c extending substantially in parallel with the axial direction of the rotary shaft 4 is provided in the bellows part 6d, and the water supply passage 10 is connected with one end of the water supply nozzle 6c.
