PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner facilitating the fitting of a motor cushion to a fan cover and capable of preventing the occurrence of turn-over of biting on the motor cushion when a motor-driven fan fitted with the motor cushion is inserted and installed in the main body side. SOLUTION: A deformation regulating member regulating the deformation of a fixed quantity of above of a motor cushion 66 is stored in the motor cushion 66, e.g. a cylindrical rigid ring member 70 as the deformation regulating member is stored in the motor cushion 66 disposed between the front side of the outer peripheral edge of a fan cover 60 and support sections (annular ribs 68, 69) on the cleaner main body 1 side.
