PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stencil printing machine wherein a plate cylinder unit can be easily fitted, and at the same time, plate cylinder units are standardized in the stencil printing machine equipped with a plurality of plate cylinder units. SOLUTION: For this stencil printing machine, a cylindrical plate cylinder 31 around which a stencil original paper is wound, a pair of brackets 33 which rotatably support both ends of the plate cylinder 31, a plate cylinder unit 30 equipped with a pair of supporting rods 35 which connect the pair of brackets 33 and arrange them in the same direction as the axis of the plate cylinder 31, a plate cylinder housing section 37 which has an attaching/detaching opening on the side section of the printing machine main body and houses the plate cylinder unit 30, a first supporting rail 43 which is provided in the plate cylinder housing section 37, can be pulled out in the horizontal direction from the attaching/detaching opening and supports one of the supporting rods 35, and a second supporting rail 47 which is provided in the plate cylinder housing section 37 at a lower location than the first supporting rail 43, can be pulled out in the horizontal direction from the attaching/detaching opening and supports the other supporting rod 35, are provided.
