PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection device which has a drive side member such as a door engine easily connected to and disconnected from a driven side member such as a door. SOLUTION: When a driven side catcher 2 mounted on a sliding door is brought close to a drive side catcher 7 mounted on a linear motor by moving the sliding door fitted to a lintel, magnetic poles of the same magnetism of permanent magnets 12, 13 are first responded, and the drive side catcher 7 is turned by the repulsive force, and evacuated. When the sliding door is further moved, and magnetic poles of different magnetism of the permanent magnets 12, 13 are responded to each other, the drive side catcher 7 is attracted to the driven side catcher 2 by the attraction. Engagement teeth 6a of the driven side catcher 2 are engaged with engagement teeth 10a of the drive side catcher 7 to automatically connect the sliding door to the linear motor in a trailing manner. |
