PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear motor for an automatic door which is compact, excellent in execution and inexpensive. SOLUTION: In a linear motor 1, hanger rails 3, 3 are integratedly formed on an outer rail 2, and thus, the outer rail 2 and the hanger rails 3, 3 need not be mounted separately, and its execution is excellent. Since a controller 18 is arranged in a space generated between an end part 8a of a rotor 8 and an end part of the outer rail 2 when a door 11 reaches the closed end position, the total constitution can be manufactured to be low in the profile, compact and inexpensive. |
