PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniaturized seatbelt device whose strength against impact caused by the collision of a vehicle or the like can be enhanced, the device having a miniaturized buckle. SOLUTION: This seatbelt device includes a buckle base 11 and a rotation regulating member 15 secured to the buckle base 11 for regulating the range of rotation of a buckle body, the rotation regulating member 15 having approximately plate-shaped arms 19B, 19C suspended across cutouts 24B, 24C serving as fitting parts formed in the sidewalls 11B, 11C of the buckle base 11. Abutment surfaces 55B, 55C oriented in the direction of impact imposed on the buckle in an emergency are disposed to abut the cutouts 24B, 24C, and projections 28, 29 formed on a buckle stay 12 are made to abut a rotation stopping part 40 formed on the rotation regulating member 15, so as to limit the rotation of the vehicle in its longitudinal and cross directions. |
