<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject ink for ink jet printing capable of preventing foaming as a result of cavitation during cloth printing and contributing to improved dissolution stability of the dye, irrespective of ink dye concentration by combining a specific dialkyl ether with a specific surfactant. SOLUTION: This ink contains (A) an aqueous dye, (B) a surfactant shown by the formula [R1 to R3 are each C2H5, CH2C6H5, CH2CH2C6H5 or the like; L is H, SO3M (M is K, Na or the like); and (m) is 9 to 30], and (C) a dialkyl ether shown by the formula R4-O-(CH2CH2O)n-R5 [R4 and R5 are each CH3 or C2H5; and (n) is 1 to 10]. It is preferable that the concentrations of the components A, B and C, represented by respective X, Y and Z wt.%, satisfy the relationships Y=aX and Z=b/Y [(a) is 0.01 to 1 and (b) is 0.1 to 0.5], and that X, Y and Z are 0.01 to 20, 0.01 to 5 and 0.1 to 5 wt.%, respectively.</p> |
