DOUBLE POWER-TYPE THERMAL HEAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin film type thermal head having a heating means that generates different energies even when an identical power source is used by an identical heating body. SOLUTION: This thermal head comprises a thin film resistor layer 102 wherein a heating resistor section 102-1 formed on a glaze layer 101 partially provided on an insulation substrate 100 and an additional resistor section 102-2 formed on the insulation substrate 100 are integrally formed. The thermal head further comprises a first electrode connection section 104-1 which is provided on the thin film resistor layer 102 to be connected to a first switching means and a second electrode connection section 104-2 which is provided on the thin film resistor layer 102 to be connected to a second switching means.
