PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lubricate a cam sprocket engaging with a timing chain and to reduce noise generated from the cam sprocket by supplying the timing chain with oil circulation in a cylinder head. SOLUTION: A communication hole 15 communicating with a cam chamber formed inside of a cylinder head 1 is formed on the cylinder head 1, and an opening 14 of the communication hole 15 is formed on a side surface of the cylinder head 1. By building such a structure, the opening 14 becomes an oil pass, and oil circulating in the cylinder head 1 flows out toward the opening 14 from the cam chamber. The oil drips from the opening 14 on a timing chain 10 at the position just before bitten by a cam sprocket 7 and the cam sprocket 7 is lubricated thoroughly. Noise generated from the cam sprocket 7, thereby, is reduced.
