PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and quiet mechanism of a reciprocating electric razor. SOLUTION: In this reciprocating electric razor, a driving piece 20 transmitting the power of a motor 1 to an inner blade has such a relation that a pitch P2 from a point (a) where the inner blade is held to a point (b) where it receives the output of the motor 1 is equal to or less than a pitch P1 between thin plate parts 22 arranged in parallel on both sides in reciprocation direction. A motor 1 side and a driving piece 20 side are mutually connected by a part having two holes 39, 40 in which an eccentric shaft 34 attached to an output shaft 33 of the motor 1 and shafts 36, 37 protruding from the driving piece 20 are fitted in play at a position between the thin plate parts 22 on both sides, and the output shaft 33 of the motor 1 and the shaft 37 of the driving piece 20 are positioned across the center of the driving piece 20. A fixed part of the thin plate part 22 is positioned more on an inner blade side than 1/2 of a pitch P3 from the point (a) where the inner blade of the driving piece 20 is held to the point (b) where it receives the output of the motor 1.
