PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a golfer to check the speeds at the time of not only a downswing but a takeback as well. SOLUTION: This golf swing training implement is constituted by fixing a base part 5 having a permanent magnet to the prescribed position of a shaft 2 and disposing an impact weight 6 which is holdable to the base part 5 side by the magnetic force of the permanent magnet at the time of non swinging and is parted from the base part 5 and is moved to a pseudo head 4 side by the prescribed centrifugal force at the time of the downswing between the base parts and the pseudo head 4. The implement described above is provided with a takeback weight 5 which is holdable to the base part 5 side together with the impact weight 6 by the magnetic force of the permanent magnet at the time of-non-swinging, and is parted from the base part 5 and is moved to the pseudo head 4 side by the prescribed centrifugal force at the time of the takeaway between the impact weight 6 and the pseudo head 4.
