PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the failure of resin pipes at the back of ceilings and other fire extinguishing system apparatus, etc. SOLUTION: This sprinkler fire extinguishing system has the resin pipes 31 which are installed on the front surface side of the ceiling and are connected at their one-side ends to water feed piping 11, sprinkler heads 23 which are mounted at the other ends of the resin pipes 31 and are arranged to project from mounting holes 2a formed at the ceiling boards, vent means 55 which are arranged on the front surface side of the ceiling boards and apertures 6 for ventilation which are arranged at nearly the same plane as the plane of the ceiling boards and through which the air in a room 70 is put in and out. The vent means 55 keep the back 80 side of the ceiling pressurized before the sprinkler heads 23 operate in the event of a fire.
