PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling the blowing in a converter, by which gaseous oxygen supplying quantity at the end stage of blowing is optimally controlled and the lowering of a hitting accuracy caused by change in the lapse of time of the repeated use of the converter is prevented and the hitting ratio to an aimed value of carbon concn. in molten steel at the end point of blowing can be improved. SOLUTION: In the converter blowing control method, with which the necessary gaseous oxygen quantity from a measured time of the carbon concn. in the molten steel to the blowing stopping time is calculated (S16) by showing carburizing speed as a function of the carbon concn. in the molten steel and integrating the function from the carbon concn. in the molten steel measured at the end stage of blowing to the aimed carbon concn. and the calculated oxygen quantity is blown into the molten steel (S22), plural factors included in the function are made to the summations of the functions of plural operational conditions influencing on the respective decarburizing speeds and learning items corrected at each time of completing the blowing control, and factors included in the functions of the operational condition are decided based on plural times of the actual data in the blowing control (S4), and the learning items are corrected based on the difference between the actual carbon concn. and the aimed carbon concn. at the each time of completing the blowing control (S28).
