PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition capable of controlling characteristics of both a vinylic polymer having at least one cross-linkable functional group and a saturated hydrocarbon-based polymer having at least one cross-linkable functional group, having high gas barrier properties and further carrying out moisture curing type one-pack curing by blending both the polymers. SOLUTION: This composition consists essentially of (A) a vinylic polymer having at least one cross-linkable functional group (preferably a cross-linkable silyl group, an alkenyl group, hydroxyl group, amino group or the like) [preferably an acrylic or a methacrylic polymer] and (B) a saturated hydrocarbon- based polymer having at least one cross-linkable functional group (preferably a cross-linkable silyl group, an alkenyl group or hydroxyl group) (preferably a polyisobutylene-based polymer). The cross-linkable functional group in each of the components A and B is preferably located at the terminal and each cross-linkable group is preferably of the same kind. The component A is obtained by a living radical polymerization, preferably an atom transfer radical polymerization.
