PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cut a printed matter sufficiently while protecting the edge against chipping by providing a mount for mounting the printed body, a print head, and a cutter for cutting the printed body into a specified shape. SOLUTION: A substantially flat mount 44 for mounting a printed body 11 is formed at an appropriate part of a lower body 6 below print heads 14a-14d and a cutter 15. A first groove 45 is made in the mount 44 at a position lower than the edge part 27 of the cutter 15. The lower body 6 is made of a metal plate and the first groove 45 is made to open upward by bending or drawing. The first groove 45 is elongated in the scanning direction while having a specified width and the edge part 27 of the cutter 15 moves along the scanning direction at the time of cutting above the first groove 45. Consequently, the first groove 45 is cleared from (does not abut against) the edge part 27.
