PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a running amount of a sheet as an absolute value irrespective of quality or a kin amount of the sheet and to travel the sheet at a predetermined running amount irrespective of a type of the sheet by using the running amount. SOLUTION: The infeed device for a rotary press for supplying a sheet 7 to a next step such as a printing unit 9 or the like by infeed rolls 8a, 8b and 8c capable of controlling a running amount of the sheet 1 comprises a notation running amount measuring means for measuring the running amount of the sheet in a notation state at a traveling line of the sheet traveled by the rolls 8a, 8b and 8c, and a running amount control means for controlling the running amount of the sheet by the rolls 8a, 8b and 8c according to a signal of a measured result of the measuring means.
