PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a pulverizing sound from being leaked in a room during pulverizing raw garbage in a raw garbage pulverizer. SOLUTION: In a raw garbage pulverizer wherein an apparatus main body having a charging passage 66 for a raw garbage, a pulverizing mechanism and a pulverizing room, and a cover body 48 installed in the charging passage 66 are installed thereto, and the raw garbage charged through the charging passage 66 is treated by pulverizing under supplying water and discharged, a space between the cover body 48 and an inner face of the charging passage 66 is made a closed structure, a partition plate 70 is provided in the cover plate 48 and a water supply opening 86 is formed in the partition plate 70. Besides, a sound arresting plate 84 is fitted to the cover body 48, a fan-shaped sound arresting part 88 is positioned below the water supply opening 86 and at a specific clearance apart from the water supply opening 86, and the water supply opening 86 is sealed by a water current by applying a current resistance to dropping water from the water supply opening 86 by the sound arresting part 88. |
