PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forming device capable of forming a hollow semi- spherical body which is formed of a sintered material and uniform in wall thickness, density and hardness by a simple operation in a short time with high accuracy. SOLUTION: The forming device of the hollow semi-spherical body comprises a fixed die 3 having a semi-spherical recessed part 2 provided on a frame 1, a movable die 6 having a semi-spherical projecting part 4 which is inserted in this fixed die 3 to form a semi-spherical shape forming part, a pressing means 7 to press the movable die 6 into the fixed die 3, a piston member 8 disposed in a clearance between the fixed die 3 and the movable die 6 in a vertically movable manner, and a working means 9 to vertically move this piston member 8.
