PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently obtain silver ion water capable of exhibiting desired silver ion effect independently of the acidity or alkalinity involved in objects to be used including soil, plants and organisms and without affecting these objects. SOLUTION: This silver ion water is obtained efficiently by formulating pure water with minute quantities of a SHOTOKU (phonetic) stone leachate containing several kinds of metal ions to prepare an ion water which, in turn, is subjected to silver electrolysis. The silver ion water thus obtained had excellent effect in terms of disinfection, sterilization, degerming, antisepticization and the like, slightly affecting soil, plants and organisms as well.
