PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the whole of many projections on a metal plate surface uniform by giving minute projections on the metal plate surface, eliminating a slag raise phenomenon treatment or a height difference deviation at the projection tip part for performing a minute diameter piercing work, and making each of the projection on the metal plate is accurate in its height. SOLUTION: At a position facing a punch 1, a plain hard element 3 having elasticity is fastenly mounted, a thin plate resin 4 is put thereon and furthermore a metal plate 2 is arranged thereon. The punch breaks the metal plate after it is pressure connected, and forms a craterlike projection having a sharp tip part. Many craterlike projections are formed on the metal plate surface by making the thin plate resin and the metal plate move in minute pithces and, simultaneously synchronize with the reciprocation movement of the punch.
