PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To excellently remove dust from dust-containing gas by providing a water spraying/agitating mechanism consisting of a water spraying part and an agitating part in a passage of the dust-containing gas and providing a dust storage part and an exhaust part on the downstream side of the water spraying/agitating mechanism. SOLUTION: In order to remove the dust 1 from the dust-containing gas discharged from a grain dryer, or the like, the water spraying/agitating mechanism 4 is provided in a passage of forcibly fed dust-containing air, and a spiral transporting mechanism 7 for transporting spirally the dust 1 containing water W is provided on the downstream part of the water spraying/agitating mechanism 4. Then the dust storage part 5 and the exhaust part 6 are provided on the downstream side of the spiral transporting mechanism 7. The water spraying/agitating mechanism 4 is constituted with the water spraying part 2 for spraying the water W in the passage of the dust-containing air and the agitating part 3 for agitating the water W sprayed from the water spraying part 2 and the dust 1. The water spraying part 2 is constituted by disposing a water spray nozzle 10 in a cylindrical body 9 connected to an exhaust pipe 8 for discharging the dust-containing air, and the base end part of a pipe member 12 connected to the water spray nozzle 10 is connected to a circulating pump 11 in a water tank 22.
