PURPOSE: A plasma display panel is provided to improve a luminance uniformity in the plasma display panel by changing the size of an address electrode to adjust a discharge characteristics. CONSTITUTION: A size of an address electrode(14a,14b,14c) on side of a backside plate is adjusted in consideration of illumination characteristics of an illuminant to make a magnitude of voltages for discharge uniform. In other words, each address electrode of a red cell, a green cell and a blue cell is formed to have different width. Consequently, the voltages for discharge among a red cell, a green cell and a blue cell each covered with the illuminant is uniformally corrected thereby obtaining a discharge margin and improving a luminance uniformity. |
