PURPOSE: A system booting system is provided to integrate booting processes, used in a high speed control system, into one module so that it can reduce a design burden or and take an effect using a costly high speed non-volatile memory. CONSTITUTION: A system booting system comprises a non-volatile memory(10), a data latch(20), a high speed volatile memory(30), an interface control logic(40) and an address counter(50). The non-volatile memory(10) stores a program to be executed in an MCU. The data latch(20) temporarily latches the program data transmitted from the non-volatile memory(10). The high speed volatile memory(30) stores the program data from the data latch(20). The interface control logic(40), in response to an external control signal such as a CS(Chip Selection) or an OE(Output Enable) signal, outputs a ROM OE, a ROM CS, a RAM OE or a RAM CS signal to the non-volatile memory(10) or the high speed volatile memory(30), and outputs a control signal to the data latch(20) when booting the system. The address counter(50) increases an address counter value when powering on the system, and outputs the addresses to the non-volatile memory(10) and the high speed volatile memory(30).
