PURPOSE: A side frame structure for bus with increased durability and decreased number of components and total weight is made possible by employing a number of supports, a waist rail and the window pillar of a square tube type. CONSTITUTION: A skid rail(54) is formed in a straight line form and the window pillar(46) and the waist rail(50) are formed in a square tube type on a right frame(40) and a left frame. A first and a second supports(60) as reinforcements are vertically or obliquely disposed between the waist rail(50) and the skid rail(54). The third support(64) obliquely reinforces the skid rail(54) and a lower pillar assembly(48) on the right frame(40) and the left frame.
