PURPOSE: An apparatus for protecting SRAM data is provided to store an important data to an inner memory provided a power supply backup circuit and protect a data from an outer illegal access CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for protecting an SRAM data includes an SRAM(130) storing a secret data, a back battery provided to the SRAM so as to be selectively connected to a power supply to always supply the power to the SRAM, a supervisory circuit(120) to supervise a power supply supplied to the SRAM and control so that a power supply is applied from the power supply or the backup battery, a scrambler(140) to decode or encode a data stored to the SRAM, a flash memory(150) storing a process procedure to a user verification process to restrict a user intending access to the apparatus for protecting the SRAM data, and a processor(110) controlling the operation of the supervisory circuit, the scrambler, and the flash memory.
