PURPOSE: An apparatus for fixing impeller for turbo compressor is provided to allow the bearing to be easily manufactured, while achieving improved compressor efficiency by reducing a friction loss between the rear surface of the impeller and a high pressure gas. CONSTITUTION: A turbo compressor comprises a plurality of impellers(400,500) which are fixed, in a face-to-face manner, at both ends of a driving shaft(300) so as to compress a fluid. Both ends of the driving shaft are coupled integrally to each impeller, in such a manner that both ends of the driving shaft are not exposed to the rear surfaces of impellers when projected in flank of each impeller. The driving shaft has small diameter portions(310) formed at both ends of the driving shaft, and impellers have through holes(410,510) formed at centers of impellers so as to allow small diameter portions of the driving shaft to be inserted into through holes. Fixing nuts(610,620) are press fit into ends of through holes, and small diameter portions have screw portions(311) formed at ends of small diameter portion so as to be coupled with fixing nuts.
