PURPOSE: A device for controlling remote user input transceiving modules of audio/video apparatuses is provided, so that a user can control user input transceiving modules of other audio/video apparatuses connected with a network such as a digital interface, through one apparatus having a displaying device, by using a command transceiving method such as an audio/video control command. CONSTITUTION: A remote controller(210) outputs a signal for controlling many audio/video apparatuses connected with a digital interface. A first audio/video apparatus(220) comprises as follows. An information retrieval(IR) receiver(221) receives an infrared(IR) signal outputted from the remote controller(210). An audio/video(AV) apparatus application program processor(222) retrieves the IR signal to decide whether the IR signal is a command for a self processing or a command for controlling other AV apparatuses, and performs an operation corresponding to the decided result. A fist A/V module(223) converts an output signal of the program processor(222) into an AV/C command format. A first IEC61883(224) converts the AV/C command format into an IEEE1394 format. A first IEEE1394 interface(225) interfaces the converted IEEE1394 format to a second audio/video apparatus(230). The second audio/video apparatus(230) comprises as follows. A second IEEE1394 interface(231) interfaces an output signal of the first IEEE1394 interface(221). A second IEC61883(232) converts the interfaced output signal into an AV/C command format. A second AV/C module(233) processes an acknowledge signal and a command corresponding to the AV/C command format, and outputs an on screen display(OSD) signal.
