PURPOSE: A drawing apparatus having an assistant wheel is for steel cord and is proposed for improvements of construction for an internal introduction frame installed in the drawing apparatus for steel cord as a reinforcement material of rubber products. CONSTITUTION: A drawing apparatus having an assistant wheel consists of a wire feeding bobbin (32) placed onto a rotation wheel (31), top and bottom guide rollers(34, 36), a drawing roller (38) and an internal introduction frame (30). Between the rotation wheel and the drawing roller, the assistant wheel (41) is inserted in a rotable manner for protecting the wire from loosing caused by the centrifugal force generated during the movement of wire. The assistant wheel has an external end equipped with a guide roller (39a) or a guide made of hard metal to ensure the wire to move straight while keeping in contact with the rollers.
