LOW TEMPERATURE SUPERPLASTIC COPPER ALLOY AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A low temperature superplastic copper alloy and its preparation method are provided, to lower the temperature showing superplastic property to 300-650 deg.C. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of casting the composition comprising 1-40 wt% one element selected from the group consisting of Ag, Fe and Cr, and the balance of Cu and inevitable impurities to prepare copper alloy(step 1); cold working the copper alloy at room temperature to the extent of 40-99.99 %(step 2); optionally intermediate heat treating the copper alloy at the temperature of 200-600 deg.C for 0.5-10 hours during the step 2(step 3); and optionally finish heat treating the copper alloy at the temperature of 400-800 deg.C(step 4).
