PURPOSE: A braking device against the sudden start is provided to prevent the accident caused by the sudden start, by reducing the air mass intake into an engine by means of the operation of a brake when in the sudden start. CONSTITUTION: A braking device comprises: for a vehicle equipped with an air flow meter, which senses the air mass inflow through an intake duct; a hydraulic cylinder(27) to be mounted on the intake duct(11), to be connected with an oil line of a master cylinder(14), and where a rectilinear motion is formed; a damper(23) to be mounted on the inner of the intake duct and to adjust the air mass; a motion conversion device to link a rotary shaft(24) of the damper with the hydraulic cylinder and to convert the rectilinear motion of the cylinder into the rotary motion of the damper, and to open and shut the damper. |
